How to Create a First Years Scrapbook
As a mother new to scrapbooking, you may be wondering how to create a first year scrapbook for your little one. The first thing to remember when taking on such a project is to not let it overwhelm you. It’s easy to look at all the pictures and mementos and think “I am NEVER going to be able to finish this!”. Don’t set a time limit because that just puts stress on you that you don’t need. Making a scrapbook is supposed to be fun! If you aren’t having fun then it becomes a chore that you just try to rush through. After you have all of your pictures printed and ready to go, along with the mementos, you’ll want to go shopping for supplies. Just remember when shopping that, while it’s all very cute, you really only need an album, paper, and adhesive to attach everything to the page and everything else is just frosting on the cake. It’s all up to you how you put everything together in the album. Keep in mind, pictures that you only have one of, you’ll want to make sure you don’t cut drastically and that it can be removed if need be.
